The British Pest Control Association (BPCA)
BPCA is a not-for-profit organisation, which acts for the pest management industry in the UK. The BPCA represents the interests of its members, and promotes development by offering relevant training opportunities. The BPCA aims to encourage high standards of professionalism in the industry, and promote thebenefits of the industry to the general public.
There are several different categories of membership with the BPCA. Full membership is currently only open to incorporated companies, firms and partnerships operating in the UK pest control industry. To qualify for membership, a business must have been trading for a minimum of one year, and members must submit to assessments, in order to maintain their membership status. Members of the BPCA can benefit from the following:

The National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA)
The NPTA was founded in 1993 and has more than 850 members. It is a professional association for the pest control industry in the UK. The NPTA's aims are to promote professionalism, emphasise environmental considerations, further members' development through training and to promote the control of public health pests.

British Traditional Molecatchers' Register (BTMR)
The aims of BTMR are to promote and advance the skills-set of traditional British molecatchers, provide training for those who wish to enter the industry, promote traditional molecatching in the media and provide a network for traditional molecatchers throughout Britain. Traditional molecatchers use traps only, and do not partake in the destruction of moles or their environment as a form of pest control.
BTMR members are committed to providing a traditional method when meeting the needs of customers, without the use of chemical compounds. This allows them to achieve a sustainable balance for the environment and wildlife within it. Membership is open to all traditional molecatchers in Britain, and members may benefit from the following:
