British Woodworking Federation (BWF)

The BWF is a trade association for the UK industry. The BWF endeavours to bring together both individuals and companies in the industry, in order to share experiences and issues, so that solutions can be found, collectively.

The Institute of Carpenters (IOC)

The IOC endeavours to support its members and promote excellence in the field of carpentry. The aims of the IOC are to enhance the status of skilled woodworkers and to encourage high standards in the industry, as a whole.

Members of the IOC can benefit from the following:

Membership is not only open to carpenters, but is also offered for heavy structural carpenters, furniture makers, boat builders, shopfitters, joiners, wheelwrights and wood carvers.
