British Woodworking Federation (BWF)

The Institute of Carpenters (IOC)
The IOC endeavours to support its members and promote excellence in the field of carpentry. The aims of the IOC are to enhance the status of skilled woodworkers and to encourage high standards in the industry, as a whole.

Membership is not only open to carpenters, but is also offered for heavy structural carpenters, furniture makers, boat builders, shopfitters, joiners, wheelwrights and wood carvers.
